I can never get tired of listening to this. NEVER EVER! Ann‘s rendition of anything baroque has my heart melting 🥺😭❤️ I struggle to find the score to this brilliant aria, but I will still keep searching. This speaks to my soul. Baroque music in general has my heart 😭❤️❤️❤️ all I want to listen to and sing for the rest of my days
Jeffrey Stivers I most certainly will 🥰 I have tried looking on so many sites and libraries yet I can’t find a score. Is it possible maybe they had it arranged for Ann from an old recording or something like this ? I know this opera is rarely performed and the composer himself isn’t so well known, probably only known by the baroque music appreciating community. This makes me so sad. I love his music
@@JeffreyStivers I messaged Ann on Facebook and she responded with the most beautiful reply ever ! Then of course of course she sent me a copy of this piece they had 😱😭🥰💘
Thank you so much! I am touched by the singer - the music - Jeffrey’s generosity - and above all the fact that every comment is positive and free from vitriol! Thanks to the NYT for introducing me to Ann Hallenberg
A wonderful video, thank you Jeffrey! I love the music and Ann; wow, she is the ultimate singer. Such a beautiful voice, full of colours, even throughout the range, musical, technically close to flawless and she has such a distinct personal touch to everything she does. What an artist! And she might be the most hardworking, kindest, unpretentious, respectful (and respected person) I have ever met. When I spoke to her yesterday she had a busy day. "Why", I asked, "you are finally at home and you have a day free". "I know," she replied, "but we have 30 people from the local choir here at my home. It's fantastic!" And this is in Älgarås, Sweden, where 417 people live (really: 417!). She and her husband Holger are an endless recourse of knowledge and enthusiasm.
You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. I'm always happy to promote Ann on my channel. She and Holger are both incredibly kind and unpretentious. On top of that, Ann is the consummate artist.
